Attended a friend's "Roaring 20's" themed birthday party a couple days ago. I had so much fun putting this outfit together. It felt like Halloween had come early. I had been wanting to wear the Topshop blouse ever since I got it, so I decided I had to wear it to this party. The dress was a random find on the sales rack at UO and it was actually pretty crazy how oddly it resembled a 20's style dress, both in it's color and design. It also came in black, but the pale purple/pink color somehow just appealed to me more, and I didn't want a dress that would look too "matchy" to the blouse anyway (funny cause another friend who attended the party was wearing the black version of the dress! hehe, great minds…). Instead of wearing this cloche hat I had bought, I opted for a headband and just stuck a feather pin onto it. I was really pleased with how the entire outfit came together in the end. Much love & Happy Birthday to Stephanie and her bf DJ for organizing a great party. I really wish I could dress like this every single day.
