new purchases

1) T. Babaton cashmere cape - not quite a personal purchase, but actually an anniversary gift from my bf (thanks love!) bought at Aritzia. The store we went to had it in dark grey and black, but apparently it's also available in light grey (?). I decided on black because grey is seriously plaguing my entire wardrobe. It's so comfortable and multifaceted... it's like the high-end equivalent of a Snuggie (and yes, I do own one).
2) Peach Petals dress from Nastygal - simple and sweet, can be worn dressy or casual.
3) Twist and Tango wool mix knitted cape from ASOS - Remember three posts ago when I was going gaga about it being out of stock?! Well, I checked (more like stalked) it the very next day and saw it was finally available again! I clicked ADD TO CART so fast that I think I accidentally placed 2 of them in my shopping cart instead of just 1.
4) Deep Plunge Cardi from Nastygal - I seem to have a thing for cardigans, dresses, blouses, coats, etc. with a drop hem, fishtail, coattail or anything resembling some sort of tail (? I'm so weird). Maybe I'm unconsciously trying to reassure that my ass is always covered? I dunno. For this particular item, I really love the snap closures in the back that gives you the option of wearing it either loose or fitted.
5) ASOS Belted Kimono dress - The best for last (yes, even better than the Twist and Tango cape). I say best because this dress exceeded my expectations of it. When shopping online, I'm usually pretty good at gauging how something will fit on me, how it'll look in person, and so forth... but dresses are always the toughest for me to figure out. This dress automatically caught my eye when I saw it, but I kept myself from buying it right away, thinking it would be odd-fitting, too see-through, or probably made of some cheap-feeling fabric. But I gave it a shot and I'm so thankful I did. It's beautiful, delicate and fits rather well. Definitely one of my most favorite dresses that I own.
