Tim Burton MoMA Exhibition
November 27, 2009 at 3:53 PM
The creative genius of Tim Burton is one that remains well-known and unmatched. For many years, he has captivated both young and old with his unconventional imagination, which has primarily been recognized through his work as a director -- until now. The Museum of Modern of Art in New York will be showcasing a retrospective of Tim Burton's work, not only as the renowned filmmaker, but also as an illustrator, writer, photographer, and all-around damn good artist. The exhibition features his artwork spanning from early childhood drawings, puppets, photographs, moving image works, and so on. In addition, it brings forth the origins and eventual concepts for those films by Burton that we admire today. The exhibition will run from November 22, 2009 to April 26, 2010. Definitely not one to miss.
